EVE MB31 stud has come loose?

par chenli fang 19 Jan 2026 0 commentaire

Have you ever encountered or seen a situation like this? The terminal stud on the battery cell has come loose, as shown in the image below.

Since we DIY lithium battery enthusiasts don't have professional welding equipment, if the terminal stud comes loose, we can't re-process the battery cell terminal, making assembly impossible and wasting an expensive battery cell.

So why does this happen?

Reason 1: Poor welding.

The laser welding power did not meet the requirements, resulting in an unstable connection between the terminal post and the electrode, causing it to detach.

Reason 2: Excessive torque.

DIY enthusiasts use excessive torque during assembly, causing the terminal stud to detach.

How can this situation be resolved?

DIY enthusiasts usually find it difficult to perform post-sale welding of the terminal studs without professional welding equipment.

Wistek provides battery cells that meet product quality requirements.

Quality Inspection:
Before welding in bulk, samples are used to test the welding process and perform torque tests to meet shipping requirements.
After the bulk welding is completed, samples are inspected.
